About Us
The SPAFC Purpose
The purpose of the Stevens Point Area Flying Club is to make flying available and affordable. By sharing costs, Club Members enjoy cost-effective, and more frequent, care-free flying.
Whether you are an experienced pilot, rusty pilot, or student pilot, the SPAFC provides everything you need to start flying today.
Our Story
The Stevens Point Area Flying Club was formed by a Stevens Point-based Certified Flight Instructor and an area aviator with flying club experience. Together, they identified the need for a high-quality aircraft to be located directly at the Stevens Point Airport (KSTE) and made available for area flyers.
The SPAFC was successfully launched in 2018.
Meet the Officers of the SPAFC

She studies Social Welfare at the University of Wisconsin and spends her free time flying with friends and flight training with certified flight instructors.
